چکیده

In recent years, solid waste management has developed from early approaches of burning or dumping to reuse, recycle, regain, and retain various alternative technologies. The present study aims at developing an effective community model with a solution multiple issues. It provide widespread stubble burning, dry leaf litter promoting plastic reuse. novel technology involved the cultivation Oyster Mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) in used bottles convert agricultural urban into highly nutritional end product. this direction, effect different wheat straw leaves’ ratios was assessed on spawn run time, primordial formation, final harvesting mean yield per bottle, % biological efficiency gram substrate. Both combinations L30:WS70 L50:WS50 represented ideal options for using two substrates cultivate mushroom species. This will help recycle agro-waste serve as method generating nutritious food fighting security while decreasing load trash thrown disposal.

DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW COTTON WASTE COMPOSTING TECHNOLOGY FOR CULTIVATION OF OYSTER MUSHROOM (Pleurotus ostreatus)

This applicable research has successful selected enzyme Ctec2 from Novozyme (Denmark) which gave the best cellulose degradation activity compared to the other enzymes. At optimum conditions of 50 o C, pH=5 and ratio between enzyme and substrate (E/S) being 0.40%, 0.45%, 0.50%, the time needed to substrate degrade was 60 hours. Based on this finding, a new cotton waste composting technology for ...

Optimization of Pleurotus Mushroom Cultivation on Saline Sisal Solid Waste

Submitted: May 21, 2013; Accepted: Jul 3, 2013; Published: Jul 20, 2013 Abstract: Mushrooms are a primary part of managing solid waste, building organic soil and returning minerals to the soil. Sisal processing in Kenya generates an estimated 611,875 tonnes of solid waste annually, which is discarded leading to environmental pollution. Sisal waste contains; lignin, cellulose and hemicelluloses ...

EFFECT OF PURE AND MIXED SUBSTRATE ON OYSTER MUSHROOM (Pleurotus ostreatus) CULTIVATION

Effects of Pure and Mixed substrates on nutritional composition, minerals and growth of Oyster Mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) were studied in present study. Results of the study revealed that the total protein content, ash, crude fiber and crude fat were higher in the mushroom harvested from mixed substrate (23.64, 8.17, 0.90 and 2.93%nrespectively) than that of the pure substrates (21.02, 3.40...

Ostreolysin enhances fruiting initiation in the oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus).

Fruiting initiation in mushrooms can be triggered by a variety of environmental and biochemical stimuli, including substances of natural or synthetic origin. In this work ostreolysin, a cytolytic protein specifically expressed during the formation of primordia and fruit bodies of Pleurotus ostreatus, was applied to nutrient media inoculated with mycelium of P. ostreatus, and its effects on myce...
